This week in First Grade our adventures included polishing up our “How To…” books and sharing them with each other; beginning our study of nonfiction books and some of the text features (photographs, labels, captions); continuing to work on strategies for adding 3 or more numbers together; comparing numbers using the <,>, and = symbols; learning about the “glued sounds” -am, -an, and -all; and having a blast at our first Snow Motion session!

Ms. Purvee's class earned another Mystery Guest Reader for completing another 120 hours of reading at home! Mrs. Wood really made it a mystery!!
